Joe’s Big Race (JBR)
April 21, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pmCost: $1,000 per 4 person team (funds camper scholarships)
Be part of the 13th Annual Joe’s Big Race (JBR) challenge! JBR is named after “Indian Joe” Cizausas who was a kind neighbor to Camp Roger and a true keeper of the land. The race started out as an idea for big fun but has become an integral part of bringing children to camp.
Teams of four will participate in a day of challenges which require a combination of physical ability, mental skills, and luck. Teams may be made up of participants of any age or gender however the challenges are geared toward an adult racer.
Each team must fundraise a minimum of $1,000 to compete. All funds raised go to supporting camper scholarships to assist families in sending their children to Camp Roger’s overnight and day camp programs.
The event is comprised of challenges that take place during a running clock competition followed by a Grand Finale challenge.
First place awarded to the following divisions during the running clock competition (Men’s, Women’s, Co-Ed). Additionally, there will be a Grand Finale team winner.
