Ultimate Fat Bike Challenge
February 25, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pmCost: 20, $25 after 2/24/17
The Ultimate Fat Bike Challenge will be a 40ish minute (estimated) time trial using a multi-lap format on groomed trails. Fat Bike riders will compete to log the fastest total time to ride a predetermined number of laps on a closed course.
Each lap will be approximately 1.5 miles in length. NOTE: As weather and snow/trail conditions can have a dramatic impact, race coordinators will estimate the suitable number of laps based on a 40 minute race length for the A(Expert) Level riders. Level B(Sport) & Level C(Beginner) riders will ride less laps accordingly. The actual number of laps will be announced on Thursday, February 23rd.
No bike, no problem! Velo City Cycles will have demo bikes available. Just let us know during registration that you will need a bike.
We will offer three race categories for both men and women ranging from A (expert), B (sport), to C (beginner). No Tandem category.
Registration: Pre-Registration is required.
$20 Registration fee until 11:59pm on Friday, February 24th.
$25 Day of event registration fee
NOTE: Registration will close at 10:30am on Saturday, February 25.
