New Balance Green Leaf
New Balance is so committed to a healthy planet, they actually created their own Green Leaf Standard which stipulates that all footwear and apparel must be made from at least 50% environmentally preferred material (recycled or coming from a renewable resource). They call this responsible leadership. We call it just plain awesome.
Some other key achievements include:
- In 2021, donated 1% of all Hierrov6 sold in the U.S. to 1% for the Planet.
- Reduced energy use per pair of shoes made by 34.5% over the last 6 years.
