Improvements abound in version 2 of the FuelCell SuperComp Trainer!
Starting with the midsole, the height of the FuelCell foam drops to a race-legal 40mm, while maintaining massive cushion comfort for the longest runs. Underfoot, the Energy Arc technology houses an arched carbon fiber plate, sandwiched between two layers of FuelCell cushioning, leaving a hollow channel through the middle of the shoe. The plate is flattened into the void with each foot strike, and returns energy as it reshapes, creating a high rebound sense of propulsion. The forefoot platform has broadened for version 2, giving a more securing feeling through toe-off.
The breathable mesh upper adds a more padded heel and ankle collar, while an updated outsole tread patter offers better traction and durability.
