Journey to Movement:
This may sound a little cheesy, but I actually got really inspired to run by watching the 2000 Summer Olympics.  I joined my high school cross country team the next year thanks to the encouragement of a friend.  I couldn't run a mile when I started cross country, but I had great coaches and friends who helped me find my strength and wouldn't let me quit.  Now running is something that is a part of who I am, and I currently have a goal to run a marathon in every state by the time I am 60 (I have run 21 marathons in 19 states).
Best Place You've Ever Traveled:
I love to travel because I feel that experiencing new places and cultures really helps you to discover who you truly are.  I've been to five other countries: Canada, Australia, Peru, Iceland, and New Zealand.  It's hard to pick a favorite place, but I would have to say Machu Picchu in Peru.  I did a four day hike along the Inca Trail, and it was an incredible experience.  The views were breathtaking, the locals were so friendly, the food was amazing, and Machu Picchu just has a magical feel to it.  If you ever get the opportunity to go, take that opportunity!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, I would want to have the power to teleport.  I love to travel, and teleportation would make that so much easier.  Plus I would never have to worry about traffic again!
