Journey to Movement:
My journey to movement started when I ran cross country for the first time as a freshman in high school. Through my years of competitive running, it's motivated me to push myself to my physical limits to discover the boundaries of what I'm capable of. I competed in college and continued running professionally for several years after my collegiate seasons. I qualified for the Olympic Trials marathon in 2016, which was the loftiest goal in my career that I had set out for myself. By accomplishing this I've learned that nobody is limited and that the true value of hard work and determination can be learned from this sport, no matter what your goals or years of experience may be.
What's your favorite go-to meal?
Peanut butter and banana sandwiches. They're easy to pack when I'm on the go and it's been my superstitious must-have meal before all my big races.
Where's the best place you've traveled?
Yosemite National Park. The views there are breathtaking and there are endless trails to explore in the mountains!
