Journey to Movement:
I've been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. I remember kicking the ball in the basement and having my mom yell at me because she thought I was going to break something. I just couldn't help myself and I couldn't get enough of it. I went on to play in college and now I'm coaching at my old high school trying to invest in the future of the game. I love that I get to have an impact on the players of the game that inspired me. Soccer was my way of moving then, and it is what inspires me to keep moving now.Â
What's one thing people might not know about you
One thing people might not know about me is that I can crab-walk very fast. I don't normally like to brag but I've won every crab-walk race that I've ever been in. For the sake of transparency I also have not competed in a crab-walk race since the 6th grade but it's something that I'll always have to hold on to.Â
Where was your favorite vacation?
My favorite vacation was to Guanacaste, Costa Rica after my senior year of high school. I went with one of my good friends and his dad and we spent a week at a brand new resort on a black sand beach. We spent the week snorkeling, riding quads and horses in the mountains, deep sea fishing and eating all the food we could handle. I also got to go down one of the world's longest concrete water slides and go zip-lining while being followed by howler monkeys. It was a pretty cool trip.Â
