Moving toward zero together

Altra diligently works to unlock potential not only in people, but the communities in which they live, work, and play. It’s something we have in common – along with their belief that a more diverse and inclusive running community is possible if we stand together in the fight for social justice.  

With a goal of ZERO (Zero Intolerance; zero hate; zero racism; zero excuses; zero limits) here’s what Altra’s done – and continues to do – along the way:

  • Built advocacy partnerships, including:
  • Running Industry Diversity Coalition (RIDC) - fighting systemic racism in the running industry and communities 
  • & Mother - removing barriers for women wishing to thrive in both career and motherhood
  • Trail Sisters - volunteered 2,021 hours of trail cleanup, supporting their quest for a more equitable outdoors
  • Still I Run - promoting the benefits of running for mental health and erasing stigma
  • Launch of the Altra Diversity and Inclusion Committee - created and following a social impact aspirational roadmap
