Ben grew up in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, where I attended Blaine High School and was an all-state athlete in cross country, Nordic skiing, and track and field. I continued my running career at South Dakota State University where I was a 6-time Summit League champion. Before joining Gazelle Elite I qualified for the 2024 Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando, having met the qualifying mark at the California International Marathon the previous year. With a degree in mechanical engineering, I now work at Stryker in Portage, MI, and I’m excited to continue my running career with Gazelle Elite.

Ben’s 2024-2025 Performance Highlights: Ben recently ran 2:14:35 to place 7th overall in the Twin Cities Marathon this past fall, 2024. Ben also owns a PR of 1:03:43 in the half marathon, finishing 25th in the USATF half marathon championships this spring of 2024. Ben took the title of the CRIM 10-miler in 2024 as well.
