In Their Words

Meet Jesse

I started running while I was in 8th Grade and after a year of running, I found I was good at it. I continued on through High School, making All-State my senior year in both Cross Country and Track. I continued in college running for Indiana Wesleyan University and became a 4-time All-American. Now, my goal is set to be as close as possible to make it to the International stage of running and make as many friends I can along the way!

Jesse’s 2024-2025 Performance Highlights: Jesse came close to a PR in the spring of 2024 at the Boston Marathon, despite dealing with an injury-plagued buildup prior. His fitness and re-instated health has been evident through various road race performances leading up to present day, including a 23:58 8K time at the 2025 Shamrock Shuffle, a 14:41 5K on the roads in the fall of 2024, and a new 4-mile road PR of 19:44 in the winter.

Looking Back

Jesse's Favorite Running Memory

2018 Cross Country Nationals. Our team outperformed ourselves. We started dead last going through the first mile. We moved up perfectly and finished second overall. It was a surreal experience.
